Jon Peter Lewis - Septembrarians...

Let's explore Jon Peter Lewis's glorious past and very bright future, and maybe briefly dwell on the present.

THE PAST (also known as BEFORE)

1,000,000 B.C.
-- Dinosaurs eat each other. Milkshakes are rumored to be invented but nothing confirmed.

1400 A.D.
-- The Renaissance is a big hit with everyone except dinosaurs, who are dead.

August 2006 A.D.
-- Jon Peter Lewis tours America playing on TV and Radio. He's a big hit.
-- The response to his new single is astounding, people spontaneously explode in excitement.
-- Jon plays to a great crowd in Idaho, they offer him gifts of potatoes and daughters of farmers.
-- He records new songs in the studio, milkshake in hand; his band eats each other.
-- Jon's music discovered to be an alternative source of fuel, dinosaurs are jealous but remain dead.

THE PRESENT (also known as CURRENTLY)

-- You are reading this right now.
-- JPL's website celebrates his new single by giving away free stuff! This stuff was bought through the Camp Kindle Auction which helps to benefit kids affected by HIV... autographed t-shirts, American Idol Gum, and an autographed iPod; check out jplewismusic.com for more free cool stuff, in the cool but not so free months ahead!

THE FUTURE (also known as LATER, ALLIGATOR)

-- J to the L will release a full album instead of just an EP due to the overwhelming response on his tour.
-- There will be a recorded live song from the Idaho show included on the album.
-- A single with "Man Like Me" and "If I Go Away" will be released any moment.
-- Also, in the near future, Jon Peter Lewis will lead the humans in a rebellion against our robot masters and will send robot protectors back in time to guard his younger self against possible assassination attempts and these stories will be made into three documentaries called "Terminator" (which have been made in the past now).

Until next month, keep checking the website for current news and "don't stop until you get enough."

Jon Peter Lewis - Oh MAY!

Spring! Time of love, renewal, and allergy flare-ups. Time for you to get out of the rain and watch Jon Peter Lewis tearing it up on the TV. What was that? You haven't heard? Well, J to the P to the L will be hosting "mVids" music on TV Guide SPOT. See him the week of May 9th
with Video On Demand, or online at http://www.tvguide.com/spot/ . And for those of you who live in isolation, far from the rest of humanity, without TV or computer, with only a few sock puppets you've named Earl, Susie, and Calvin Coolidge, well, you wouldn't be reading this anyway. But good luck with all that.

This next bit of news will come in the form of an ode.

ODE TO JON IN MAY

Jon, you know that we always MAY-ntain

You MAY-ke rock like a friggin freight train

Molly Malone's was a hands down hit

And now the footage is on exhibit

You party people MAY see Jon on stage

If you go to the website video page

Here's the link: http://jplewismusic.com/main/main_media_video.htm . Have a lovely day, everyone. And one of these spring nights, when it's clear and you see a shooting star, maybe it's not actually a meteorite burning up the atmosphere, but Jon Peter's awesomeness instead.

Mother MAY I,

Jon Peter Lewis - Dear You...

If that's not your name, it might be a good change.  It's Spring, dig? A time to clean out the old. Time for you to win a JPL autographed iPod Shuffle in the Great Escape Contest!  You don't know?  Shame on you! Get to the website, inform yourself, and play.  The more you play...well, let's just say if math stats are your thing, you'll be excited.  Here's the link: http://jplewismusic.com/groupee/forums/a/tpc/f/470109089/m/4781091011/

But mysterious newsletter writer, what will I listen to on said iPod?  Good question, You!  Why, Jon Peter's new EP, of course!  Look and listen for it.  It's coming soon.  Soon: meaning close to now but probably closer to later. Speaking of soon, we hope to see you at Jon Peter's show on April 11th.

- Mark this:  April 11th - Molly Malone's in L.A.  21 and up.  Limited space.

Sure, you're thinking, does that "21 and up" mean age or inches?  Unfortunately, it's age.  You're also thinking isn't every space "limited" except for perhaps space?  Well, you're observant and we applaud your education.

Well, You.  It's been fun.  Don't cry.  We'll be back. Go to the website, listen to new interviews with Jon: http://jplewismusic.com/main/main_media_audio.htm
That'll put you in a better mood. Heck yes it will.

March to the Beat of Your Drum,

The Ides of JPL

Jon Peter Lewis - Dear Februarians...

Jon Peter's been busy. Maybe you have, too. Reach your arm behind you into that awkward position and pat yourself on the back. But if you haven't heard, Jon's original song "It's Christmas" hit #13 on the Canadian Pop/AC charts. Heck yeah! (insert 80's guitar riff here) And just in case you prefer your music visually, there are videos! If you want to see Jon using his chops, check it out:
http://jplewismusic.com/main/main_media_video.htm

And if you want to hear his latest interview on "Idol Chat" go here:
http://jplewismusic.com/groupee/forums/a/tpc/f/66710222/m/3441022501/

Guess who likes games? Yes, Milton Bradley. You're so smart. Besides him, we here at jplewismusic.com do, too! So come play "The Great Escape," our American Idol fan contest.

Game rules: Every week American Idol cuts it down to the two performers who scored lowest. "The Great Escape" is you guessing correctly who is going to make it out of the lowest two after the lame commercial break advertising, when you're just hurting to find out who it is but you're so hungry. So you go warm up a taquito, and then everyone's yelling, "You're gonna miss it!" and you're like "I want a taquito! Geez!" ANYWAY, you'll be voting on the website! For more details go to:
http://jplewismusic.com/groupee/forums/a/tpc/f/470109089/m/4781091011/

How to Win: For those of you who guess correctly that week, there'll be a drawing and you'll win JPL prizes! Go to the website for more info. Just go to the website for awesome's sake! Oh, taquitos are up! See ya next month!

The Great Escapade,

JPL Crew

Jon Peter Lewis -- Remember November?

i-Pod Nano giveaway winner? (do a drum roll on your jeans) No, it wasn't Nancy Reagan! It was Keiya Jade, whose name rolls off the tongue much easier. Congratulations! Plus, Jon's song "It's Christmas" was the number #3 pick in Canada for singles released, the #3 most added single to Pop stations, and the only Christmas song to make the "Most Added" page yet this year! If you don't have the new "NOW! Christmas 2" album, leave that cave and/or hippie commune and go get it! (you can stop that drum roll now if you forgot)

If you couldn't make it to last month's chat with Jon Peter, the conversations are still posted at jplewismusic.com. Just copy and paste his conversations and insert your own questions. Be as witty or as personal as you want. Like this:

YOU: Hey Jon, I'm from Tahiti, got some time this weekend?

jon: Australia, yes! I'd love to come, and I hope to get there soon.

YOU: Actually, it's not in Aust...nevermind. I'll fly you here if you
want.

jon: Not so much into Catwoman. I had a crush on She-ra.

YOU: But we're talking about me! You and me, this weekend or not?

jon: Pues tu tienes buen gusto entonces porque me llamo yo asi.

YOU: I don't understand you! Goodbye!

See? It's fun.

Visit the site! New pics! December Idea: JPL snowman. No snow? Use
mashed potatoes!

Jon Peter Lewis has your iPod Nano!

If you haven't heard, stop by the website, jplewismusic.com. November 7th, Jon Peter's b-day is coming up and we are giving away presents all month long! Find out the rules and enter to win some bumper stickers, autographed photos, CD's, t-shirts, and even an iPod Nano signed by Jon. And if you want to talk to Jon, he's going to be online Nov. 12 for a little heart to heart.

Some news from October:

1) Jon Peter Lewis has a new, original song on the "Now! Christmas 2" album released in Canada!
2) Jon Peter Lewis gets to name a comet. He's going to call it either "Jon Peter Lewis' Great Ball of Fire" or "Hale-Yeah!"
3) JPL just found out his real father was Little Richard.

Sorry, only one of these things is true. Let's just for fun's sake say it's the new, original song. This "Now! Christmas 2" album that was released in Canada puts Jon Peter in the middle of great artists like Bing Crosby, Natalie Cole, Weezer, Simple Plan, Reba McEntire, Stevie Wonder, Michael Bublé, and Pavarotti. Get it soon! Even non-Canadians can get it, though it might take some border running. Or just order it online at http://www.mymusic.com and http://www.shopemi.com if you prefer the less adventuresome route.

If you haven't been listening, go to the website and download "Stories from Hollywood", the new single that was released in October. Suggested uses for the song?

Sing it in the car really loud, perhaps even bringing back the air guitar.

OR

Rock out while listening to it on your iPod in public and when people look at you and give you the "What are you listening to?" signal by tapping their ears and mouthing those words, just say "Your mom." Then laugh, give 'em a high five and tell them who it really is! Because alienating people is bad.

Others rumors that might be true: JPL Hot Sauce? Could it be? Pray.

Rock this Autumn.
